Flowers: Rose 3

Simple, yet beautiful. I think that everything has been done according to the book, and this worked. The centered drop might be thought as too centered, but because the rose itself only occupies a part of the picture, this brings the necessary (well, nothing is necessary I guess but this helps, at least in that case) asymmetry to this picture. The shallow depth of field is (mandatory here but) very well done, with complementary colors in the background that help further highlighting the foreground.

Probably the sharpness of the rose itself could be a bit improved for an even better result !
